Here is something I stumbled over today , its a C64 party in Belarus!.
Since the site is in Belarusian I had to use google translator and this is what the site says:

Hackers Top will be held April 24-25, 2010, in the glorious Belarusian city of Grodno. We sincerely hope that more than two months enough time, that would make a lot of interesting work;). We sincerely believe that the snow by this time will go, but the people will wake up from hibernation and will please us, a couple of other releases."
