Doom 2: France In Hell!

Does anyone have any idea why the japanese Doom 2 strategy guide is called FRANCE IN HELL?.

Update: Found an explaination, it appears they fucked up at the printing/translation factory in Japan, the japanese characters for "The Dead" also happens to mean "France". It could also possibly mean Buddha in Hell hmmm.

Some crazy dude makes a 6h30min complete playthrough of Chips Challenge.

Just randomly found this when searching around for old games to try on my 486. Never realized how goddamn long this game was back when we used to play it in school.

Much respect to TTDLX who did the playthrough, he must have the patience of a tibetan monk!.

Virus - Dr. Mario prototype dumped.

"Virus is a prototype that eventually mutated into Dr. Mario.

It was found installed in an otherwise unremarkable PlayChoice-10 arcade cabinet in 2012, which was likely used to playtest new NES games at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant at one point."

New Pac-Man port for Atari 2600 blows the original version out of the water.

Original Version ---^

The new port ---^

As you can see it's totally different from the original, and how the original version should have been!.

"Dennis Debro sought to create an adaptation of Pac-Man more faithful than Atari's 1982 version for the VCS. Utilizing the same 4K memory limit as the original, Dennis' game is a feat of programming that finally brings Pac-Man to the Atari 2600 as it was intended."
