Virus - Dr. Mario prototype dumped.

"Virus is a prototype that eventually mutated into Dr. Mario.

It was found installed in an otherwise unremarkable PlayChoice-10 arcade cabinet in 2012, which was likely used to playtest new NES games at a Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant at one point."

New Pac-Man port for Atari 2600 blows the original version out of the water.

Original Version ---^

The new port ---^

As you can see it's totally different from the original, and how the original version should have been!.

"Dennis Debro sought to create an adaptation of Pac-Man more faithful than Atari's 1982 version for the VCS. Utilizing the same 4K memory limit as the original, Dennis' game is a feat of programming that finally brings Pac-Man to the Atari 2600 as it was intended."

Some interesting recent ventures in emulation on the Xbox 1.

It's pretty fun to see that coders are still trying to push as much out of the Xbox as possible. The two latest projects from the last half year for the Xbox has been a port of the 3DO emulator 4DO and the Atari Jaguar emulator Virtual Jaguar.

Many of the old emulators for the Xbox are also being perfected, N64 emulation on the Xbox is still superior to N64 emulation on the Wii for example.
